Members of Springfield’s Best, Inc. have long recognized that the action of any one member reflects on the business image of all its members. As a result, Springfield’s Best, Inc. and its members have adopted a Code of Conduct which all members are required to meet and maintain. These requirements and standards are as follows:
- Member companies and/or their employees will not discriminate against their customers, employees or vendors with regard to sex, age, race, creed or national origin.
- Members agree to act in good faith, and to be honest, truthful and fair to all concerned.
- Members agree to support the purpose and function of Springfield’s Best, Inc., as defined by its Bylaws.
- Members must have a good business reputation within the community, and must not be subject to adverse intervention by local, state, or federal government action involving its business practices.
- A member’s public image and/or reputation will not, in the opinion of Springfield’s Best, Inc., be of a nature that would unfavorably affect public opinion of Springfield’s Best, Inc., or its members.
- A member must promptly and formally respond in writing to any and all customer complaints presented by Springfield’s Best, Inc., and must include in the letter any and all corrective actions or adjustments which will be taken to alleviate the complaint.
- Springfield’s Best, Inc., and its members recognize the confidentiality of its member’s business and agree to honor that confidentiality.
Failure to maintain these minimum requirements and standards of membership, as determined by the Board of Directors of Springfield’s Best, Inc., will result in termination of membership rights and the use and/or display of the Springfield’s Best, Inc. logo.
