Membership in Springfield's Best is by invitation only. A person, firm or corporation may be proposed for an applicable vacant business category by any the following:
Qualification for membership are as follows:
- Prospective member companies must be of good reputation and shall be perceived by the Springfield community as one of the best in their business category, as determined by the sole discretion of the Board of Directors. Prospective members must operate their business with honesty, integrity and ethical behavior.
- A prospective member shall provide reasonable evidence to the Board of Directors, of consecutive operation of the applicable business by such prospective member (or geographical area and consistent with all other membership qualifications and guidelines for a period of at least two(2) years immediately preceding the date of application for membership.
- Membership is limited to one member company per business category.
- Prospective members must submit with their membership application any positions held on professional boards or associations, a letter of reference from a financial institution and at least two (2) letters of recommendation from existing customers.
